Accessories for the KTM 690 SMC R

The KTM 690 SMC R is a road-focused supermoto, at home on twisty roads and useful for everyday urban riding. Both uses put the emphasis on controls and protection before cosmetic changes. A screen becomes more relevant when reaching your favourite bends involves longer stretches of open road, so the right additions depend on the whole journey, not just the corners.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 690 SMC R

• Levers: Braking for bends and working the clutch through town keep your hands busy on this supermoto. Lever shape and reach affect where your fingers sit, making the controls a worthwhile focus for your setup.
• Protectors: These help shield exposed areas if the bike goes down. For a 690 SMC R used for weekday commuting as well as weekend rides on winding roads, protection serves a more practical purpose than styling changes alone.
• Screens: An upright supermoto riding position leaves you exposed to airflow. A screen can make the open-road stretches between favourite routes more comfortable, even if it is less of a priority for short journeys around town.
• Number plate holders: These change the rear-end finish to suit the bike's supermoto look. They are primarily a styling choice, altering how the number plate sits and how the tail looks rather than improving comfort on longer rides.
• Phone mounts: Useful when the 690 SMC R doubles as your urban transport, keeping navigation in view on unfamiliar streets. They also come into their own when a weekend route links together roads you have not ridden before.

Model years and your KTM 690 SMC R

The KTM 690 SMC R has changed over the years, and the 2019-2020 and 2021-2024 versions do not take all the same parts. Exhausts and suspension components are two examples where the required part can differ by year. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit it.
