Accessories for KTM 790 ADVENTURE

Accessories for the KTM 790 Adventure

Long road days and detours onto trails call for different priorities on the KTM 790 Adventure. This adventure bike lends itself to touring and mixed-surface riding, so your accessories should reflect how you divide your time between them. Carrying kit for a week away, managing wind on motorway stretches and preparing for uneven tracks each put different items first.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 790 Adventure

• Luggage: dedicated storage makes clothing and touring essentials easier to organise on trips lasting several days, rather than carrying everything in a rucksack. Travelling with a pillion makes planning space for both riders' kit especially worthwhile.
• Screens: useful for reducing wind exposure during motorway links and long stretches on open roads. For mixed road and trail use, consider the shelter you want while seated alongside a clear view of the track ahead.
• Protectors and crash bars: help protect exposed areas if the bike tips over at low speed. They are particularly relevant when your touring includes rough tracks, or when you need to manoeuvre a loaded bike on uneven ground.
• Foot pegs: provide an important contact point when switching between seated road riding and standing on trails. Choosing the right support for your boots helps tailor the riding position to touring, off-road outings or a mixture of both.
• Phone mounts: keep navigation visible on unfamiliar back roads and journeys with several stops. Positioning matters on an adventure bike: the screen should be readable without obstructing the controls or getting in your way when standing.

Choosing parts for the 2019-2020 and 2023-2026 versions

The KTM 790 Adventure has changed over the years, and the 2019-2020 and 2023-2026 versions do not share every accessory. Screens, handlebar components and crash bars are examples of parts that are not interchangeable across both versions. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.
