Accessories for the KTM 890 Adventure L

Long road days and stretches of unpaved trail place different demands on the KTM 890 Adventure L. As an adventure bike, it suits riders who mix touring with exploring beyond the tarmac. The most useful accessories address that balance: wind protection on faster roads, a comfortable riding position and protection for riding on uneven ground.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 890 Adventure L

• Footpegs: a useful area to focus on when your rides involve both seated road miles and standing on the trails. The shape and support under your boots matter more when you spend longer stretches out of the seat.
• Screens: wind protection becomes a priority on tours with lengthy motorway sections. Consider coverage in relation to your seated riding position, while keeping a clear view of the route ahead when you turn onto narrower roads and trails.
• Protectors, crash bobbins and crash bars: worth prioritising if your routes regularly leave the tarmac. They help limit damage from knocks and minor falls, making them particularly relevant for trail riding and low-speed manoeuvres on uneven surfaces.
• Phone mounts: useful for navigation when a touring route takes you along unfamiliar roads. Positioning the phone within view from your normal seated stance, without obstructing the controls, makes more sense than simply placing it wherever there is space.
• Handlebars: hand position needs to work for both hours in the saddle and standing while riding on trails. For this mix of uses, consider your reach in both positions rather than concentrating solely on seated comfort.

Choosing parts for the 2021-2022 or 2023 version

The KTM 890 Adventure L has changed over the years, and the 2021-2022 bikes and the 2023 version do not use all the same parts. Screens and protectors, for example, do not necessarily fit both versions. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.
