Accessories for the KTM 890 Adventure R Rally

The KTM 890 Adventure R Rally is an adventure bike suited to journeys that mix tarmac with unpaved tracks. That variety shapes what is worth fitting: protection matters when the surface gets rough, while wind management becomes more noticeable on longer road stretches. It is worth thinking about the whole ride, not just the section you enjoy most.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 890 Adventure R Rally

• Protectors: Loose stones, mud and low-speed drops are familiar considerations when riding on tracks. Protection helps address exposed areas of the bike, especially if your routes regularly leave the road before heading back onto tarmac.
• Screens: A long road link can be tiring when you are riding into steady airflow. A screen can deflect some of that wind while you are seated, though its shape also matters when you move around the bike or stand on the pegs off-road.
• Exhausts: An exhaust is a way to change the sound and appearance of the Adventure R Rally. For a bike used on both tracks and public roads, it makes sense to consider where you ride and the rules that apply there.
• Stands and sidestand accessories: Stopping on a track may mean parking on uneven or loose ground rather than level paving. These accessories can help with parking during a ride or with routine maintenance once you are home.
• Mudguards: Wet tracks bring spray and mud into the equation. A mudguard is particularly relevant when a ride moves between dirty trails and stretches of road, where you may want to limit what the wheel throws up.

More time on tracks may put protection at the top of your list; longer tarmac sections make a screen more relevant. The balance depends on how you actually use the bike.
