Accessories for KTM 890 DUKE

Accessories for the KTM 890 Duke

The KTM 890 Duke is a sporty naked bike suited to everyday journeys and weekend rides on twisty roads. Those two uses call for slightly different priorities: repeated use of the controls matters in traffic, while wind exposure becomes more noticeable over longer distances. Accessories can address those needs, protect exposed areas or give the bike a different look without making every change about styling.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 890 Duke

For a Duke that handles both commuting and leisure rides, the most useful additions balance comfort and protection with the visual changes often associated with a naked bike.

• Screens: help deflect some of the airflow reaching your upper body. They make particular sense when a favourite stretch of bends involves a motorway journey to get there, or when your Duke regularly takes you beyond short urban trips.
• Protectors and crash protection: aim to reduce damage to the areas they cover if the bike falls over. For a naked bike used around town, they are worth prioritising against the knocks that can happen while parking or manoeuvring at low speed.
• Levers: change the way your fingers meet the brake and clutch controls. Frequent clutch use in traffic makes a comfortable shape valuable, while easy reach with your riding gloves on also matters when working the controls on winding roads.
• Number plate holders: alter how the plate sits visually within the rear of the bike. On the 890 Duke, this is primarily a styling choice for riders who want to emphasise its sporty naked-bike appearance rather than add touring comfort.
• Phone mounts: hold your phone for navigation when you venture onto unfamiliar roads. They are useful for finding new weekend routes on the Duke, as well as navigating between changing destinations during everyday journeys through town.
