Accessories for the KTM 890 Duke L

The KTM 890 Duke L is a naked bike suited to weekday journeys and rides along winding roads. With this style of motorcycle, wind exposure and your riding position matter as the miles build up. Useful additions should reflect your routine: a short urban commute places different demands on you from a weekend ride with long stretches of faster road.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 890 Duke L

• Screens: A screen helps redirect airflow away from your upper body. It makes particular sense on a Duke L when reaching your favourite bends involves a motorway or dual carriageway journey, rather than just a few miles through town.
• Protectors: These help limit damage to the areas they cover during knocks or falls. On a Duke L used for everyday transport, that is a practical consideration when manoeuvring into tight parking spaces or handling the bike at low speed.
• Levers: Repeated brake and clutch use in stop-start traffic puts the focus on how the levers sit beneath your fingers. Replacements offer a way to seek a shape and reach that feel more comfortable during your daily urban ride.
• Handlebars: Hand position affects the way your arms and upper body settle on the bike. It is worth considering when your Duke L serves as both a commuter and a weekend road bike, with longer uninterrupted periods in the saddle.
• Number plate holders: An option for riders looking for a tidier rear appearance. On a naked bike such as the Duke L, the plate and its bracket are visually prominent, making this an appearance-focused change rather than a comfort upgrade.

For mixed commuting and leisure use, address wind exposure and riding position first. Cosmetic changes can follow once the bike feels right on your regular journeys.
