Accessories for the KTM 990 Supermoto R

The KTM 990 Supermoto R is a supermoto built for an engaging ride, particularly on winding roads. That makes the useful additions quite specific: protection for exposed areas, secure points of contact and a clear view behind you all matter when the route keeps changing direction. It can also be ridden for everyday journeys, so the right set-up depends on whether your time on the bike is spent mainly on weekend rides or in regular traffic.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 990 Supermoto R

• Protectors: make sense on a bike that sees frequent turns, stops and manoeuvres. They help shield exposed areas from scuffs and minor knocks, whether you are out on a ride or moving the bike around day to day.
• Footpegs: matter when you move your weight and adjust your riding position through a series of bends. They are a key contact point for an active style of riding on the Supermoto R.
• Exhausts: can give the bike a different sound and appearance. For a machine enjoyed as much for the feel of a ride as for getting from place to place, those details may be part of the appeal.
• Mirrors: deserve attention if your rides mix twisting roads with urban traffic. A useful rearward view makes it easier to keep track of other road users when changing lanes or joining a road.
• Crash bungs and guards: offer an extra measure of protection during a stationary manoeuvre or a low-speed tip-over. They are worth considering when the bike is also part of your everyday routine.

Which year is your KTM 990 Supermoto R?

The bike has changed over the years, with 2007-2010 and 2011-2013 versions. Parts such as protectors and mirrors therefore do not necessarily fit both. Choose your bike’s year on this page to see only accessories that fit yours. It keeps the focus on what suits your riding rather than on parts intended for a different year.
