Accessories for the KTM 990 Supermoto T

The KTM 990 Supermoto T blends supermoto character with a touring focus. That makes wind protection, riding position and luggage particularly relevant when a route includes both fast connecting roads and tighter bends. Equipping it is about making the longer stretches more comfortable while keeping it practical for the winding roads you ride it for. A short Sunday ride and a weekend away place different demands on the same bike.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 990 Supermoto T

• Screens: useful for taking some wind pressure off your upper body on motorway stretches and longer road journeys. They become more relevant when reaching your favourite riding roads means spending a substantial part of the day getting there.
• Crash bobbins and crash bars: help protect the bike in a stationary drop or low-speed fall. For touring use, that is worth considering when manoeuvring with luggage or making frequent stops along an unfamiliar route.
• Handlebars and levers: your hand position matters through a sequence of bends as well as over a full day in the saddle. These parts help tailor the riding position and operation of the controls to those demands.
• Footrests: provide support as you shift your position on twisting roads. For longer trips, their effect on where your feet sit and how your legs are positioned also deserves attention, rather than focusing solely on spirited riding.
• Luggage: makes the difference between carrying just enough for an afternoon and packing for several days away. It gives clothing and touring essentials a place on the bike instead of leaving everything on your back.
