Accessories for the Kymco Filly 125

The Kymco Filly 125 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys, from commuting to a string of short trips across town. That pattern of use makes parking and exposure to the elements more relevant than long-distance luggage. You may leave it in several places over the course of a day, then ride through open streets where the wind is more noticeable. The right accessories can address those familiar moments without changing what makes the Filly 125 useful around town.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco Filly 125

Think about where you park, how often you stop and which roads make up your usual journey. For this scooter, three types of accessory are particularly relevant:

• Protectors: regular parking in tight spaces and low-speed manoeuvres can bring the scooter close to walls, kerbs or other vehicles. Protectors are intended to look after the areas they cover against minor knocks and scuffs. They are worth considering if your daily routine involves frequent parking or moving the Filly 125 in and out of a confined space.
• Screens: a screen can help deflect some of the wind from your upper body when your journey takes in exposed streets or stretches beyond the busiest part of town. It may matter less for a very short hop, but can make a familiar commute more comfortable when you spend longer riding into the wind.
• Locks: commuting, shopping and errands mean leaving the scooter parked at different points throughout the day. A lock gives you a way to secure the Filly 125 each time you walk away, including during quick stops. This is particularly relevant if street parking is a regular part of how you use it.

If most of your riding is urban, start with the parking situations you face most often. Then consider whether wind protection would make a difference on the roads you ride every day.
