Accessories for the Kymco Like 200i

The Kymco Like 200i is a retro-styled scooter well suited to everyday journeys around town. For that kind of riding, the stops matter as much as the miles: squeezing into a parking space, finding your way across an unfamiliar neighbourhood and travelling home in cooler weather all place different demands on your kit. The most useful additions are those that make those regular trips more comfortable or give exposed areas some protection.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco Like 200i

Start with the part of your routine you would most like to improve. A scooter used for commuting through town calls for different priorities from one that spends much of the day parked outside:

• Protectors: help shield exposed parts during low-speed manoeuvres and frequent parking. They are worth considering if your usual stops involve tight spaces or parking alongside other bikes.
• Phone mounts: keep navigation directions in view when a journey takes you through streets you do not know. On a cross-town trip with plenty of turns, that is more convenient than having to reach into a pocket for your phone.
• Screens: provide some shelter from the airflow on more open roads and routes into town. If your journey mixes slow streets with faster stretches, a screen can make the daily ride feel less tiring.
• Covers and leg covers: serve different parts of a year-round routine. A cover is useful when the Like 200i is left outside, while a leg cover offers welcome shelter on cold rides across town.

Puig and Tucano Urbano are among the accessory brands available for this model. You need not change everything at once: the best starting point may be protecting the scooter where you park, making navigation easier or adding shelter to the journeys you take most often.
