Accessories for the Kymco People GT 125i

The Kymco People GT 125i is a scooter suited to everyday travel. That can mean weaving through city traffic, making several stops and riding when the weather is less than inviting. Accessories for this sort of use are often about shelter from the elements, making parking easier and keeping directions in view, rather than preparing the scooter for sporty riding.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco People GT 125i

These choices address the practical side of using the scooter regularly, whether your journey stays in town or takes you onto faster roads:

• Screens: help take some of the wind off you on open roads and longer commutes. A screen from Puig or Givi is worth considering if you ride the People GT 125i throughout the year rather than only in fair weather.
• Protectors: make sense when the scooter is frequently parked on the street or manoeuvred into tight spaces. Day-to-day use involves plenty of low-speed movement, where an awkward stop can leave a mark.
• Phone mounts: keep route guidance where you can see it when heading to an unfamiliar address. They are useful if your usual commute is mixed with errands in different parts of the city.
• Security locks: suit a scooter that may be left outside while you work, shop or meet someone. Artago is among the accessory brands available if securing the bike at those stops is a priority.
• Covers and leg covers: address two familiar parts of daily scooter use: leaving it outdoors and riding in cold or wet weather. They are particularly relevant when you rely on the People GT 125i even on days you might rather stay inside.

For a People GT 125i from 2010 to 2019, start with the journeys you actually make: the roads you use, where you park and how often you ride in poor weather.
