Accessories for the Kymco People GT 300i

The Kymco People GT 300i is a scooter suited to everyday travel, from errands around town to regular journeys on faster roads. How you use it makes a difference to what is worth fitting. Wind protection matters more if your commute includes open stretches, while accessories that help with parking and navigation come into their own when you make several stops across the city.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco People GT 300i

The most useful additions address the parts of the journey you deal with every day: riding into the wind, finding your way through unfamiliar streets and leaving the scooter parked between trips.

• Screens: provide shelter from the wind on longer journeys or exposed roads. They can also make a daily ride more comfortable in cold or wet weather. Puig and Givi are among the accessory brands available for this model.
• Protectors: help look after exposed areas when you park or manoeuvre at low speed. They are particularly relevant if your usual route involves tight parking spaces or repeated stops during the working day.
• Phone mounts: keep navigation in view when you are crossing an unfamiliar part of town or taking a different route to avoid traffic. That is useful on a scooter used for frequent short journeys, where directions can change from one trip to the next.
• Covers and leg covers: suit different moments in a scooter's daily routine. A cover is useful when the People GT 300i is parked outdoors, while a leg cover helps on cold commutes. Tucano Urbano is one of the brands represented in the accessories for this model.

Think about where most of your riding takes place. An open-road commute puts more emphasis on a screen; regular city stops make protection and easy access to directions especially useful.
