Accessories for the Kymco People GT 300i ABS E4

The Kymco People GT 300i ABS E4 is a scooter suited to everyday travel, from errands around town to journeys that take in faster roads. That mix of riding makes practical accessories worth considering: a little more shelter from the wind, protection for a bike that is parked and manoeuvred frequently, or a convenient place for directions. What matters most depends on where you spend your time riding, rather than how many extras you can fit.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco People GT 300i ABS E4

The choices for this scooter reflect the demands of regular journeys. Think about the stretches where the wind becomes tiring, the tight spaces you navigate when parking, and whether your routes often take you somewhere unfamiliar.

• Screens: provide a barrier against the airflow you meet when riding. On the People GT 300i ABS E4, they are particularly relevant if your commute includes open roads as well as stop-start urban streets. The benefit is easier to appreciate when you are riding for longer rather than making a short trip across town.
• Protectors: are worth considering for a scooter that spends much of its working day being wheeled into parking spaces and turned around at low speed. They add protection against the sort of minor knocks and scuffs that can occur during those routine manoeuvres, without replacing care when handling the bike.
• Phone mounts: keep directions in view when you are crossing unfamiliar parts of town or travelling between several stops. That is useful on a daily-use scooter: you can follow the route without repeatedly taking your phone out at each pause. Set the route before you move off and keep your attention on the road.

Puig and Givi are among the accessory brands available for this Kymco. If your riding spans both town and faster roads, start with the part of the journey you most want to improve: wind exposure, everyday parking or finding your way.
