Accessories for the Kymco People S 50

The Kymco People S 50 is a scooter suited to getting around town, whether that means commuting, running errands or making several short journeys in one day. That pattern of riding puts the emphasis on practical accessories: something to deal with the weather, something useful when parking, and equipment that makes familiar routes a little more comfortable. What works for a long-distance motorcycle is not always what matters most here.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco People S 50

• Security locks: regular stops outside shops or workplaces make a lock a useful part of everyday parking. Artago is one of the accessory brands listed for this scooter; choosing a lock you can use routinely matters when you park several times a day.
• Screens: a screen helps deflect some of the airflow on open stretches of an urban commute. It can make repeated journeys more comfortable, particularly when the weather is cooler and the route includes faster roads.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover is useful when the scooter is parked outdoors, while a leg cover can make cold or damp rides across town more pleasant. Tucano Urbano is among the brands available for this kind of accessory.
• Phone mounts: a visible navigation display helps with unfamiliar streets and changing routes between errands. On a scooter used for frequent trips around town, it saves having to take your phone out whenever you stop to check the way.
• Protectors: town riding means frequent parking and manoeuvring in shared spaces. Depending on the item, protectors can help look after exposed areas against the everyday scuffs that come with that routine.

Kymco People S 50 versions by year

The People S 50 has changed over the years, with versions for 2005-2006, 2007-2017 and 2018. As a result, protectors, phone mounts and covers or leg covers do not necessarily fit every version. Choose your scooter’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.

For regular urban use, it is worth thinking about where you park and the weather you ride through as often as the journey itself. Those details help narrow down what will be useful day after day.
