Accessories for the Kymco Super9 125

The Kymco Super9 125 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys around town. When most rides involve familiar streets, junctions and short stops, useful accessories are often the ones that make those routines easier. Protection matters during parking and low-speed manoeuvres; a phone mount can help with unfamiliar addresses; and a screen becomes more relevant when the journey takes you onto more exposed roads. What you fit should reflect the routes you actually ride rather than an imagined long-distance trip.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco Super9 125

There are three accessory types available for this scooter. Each addresses a different part of daily riding, so it is worth considering where your own journeys tend to become less straightforward:

• Protectors: busy streets mean frequent parking, tight spaces and manoeuvres at walking pace. Protectors are intended to look after the areas they cover against scuffs or minor knocks. On a scooter used regularly for errands or commuting, that can be relevant even when the ride itself is only a few miles long.
• Phone mounts: finding a new address across town is easier when navigation is visible without stopping to take your phone out of a pocket. A mount gives the device a place within view. Set your route before you move off, then keep your attention on the road rather than trying to interact with the screen as you ride.
• Screens: on open avenues or stretches of ring road, wind is more noticeable than it is on sheltered local streets. A screen can deflect some of that airflow away from the front of the rider. It is particularly worth considering if the same exposed stretch forms part of your regular journey.

For a Super9 125 that rarely leaves town, protection and navigation may be the priorities. If your commute includes faster, open roads, a screen may be more useful day to day.
