Accessories for the Kymco Top Boy 50

The Kymco Top Boy 50 is a scooter suited to getting around town and making everyday journeys. Frequent stops, changing destinations and time spent riding through exposed streets all shape what is useful on it. Rather than fitting equipment intended for long-distance touring, it makes sense to focus on accessories that support the way you actually use this scooter: parking it, finding your way and dealing with the air on your ride.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco Top Boy 50

The accessories available for this model focus on three practical aspects of day-to-day scooter riding:

• Protectors: useful for looking after the areas they are designed to cover when minor scuffs are a concern. If your Top Boy 50 spends its day between shared parking spaces and quick stops around town, protection can be more relevant than equipment aimed at longer rides.
• Phone mounts: give your phone a place where you can see directions while travelling to an unfamiliar address. On a scooter used for errands as well as familiar commutes, that can make a change of route easier to manage. Set your destination before moving off, and stop if you need to adjust it.
• Screens: can deflect some of the air you meet on broad roads or more open sections of an urban journey. A screen may be worth considering if your regular route includes those stretches, particularly when you ride in cooler weather; its purpose here is everyday comfort, not turning the scooter into a tourer.

Puig is among the accessory brands listed for the Top Boy 50. Whether protection, directions or shelter from the air matters most will depend on where you ride and how often you stop along the way.
