Accessories for the Kymco Vitality 50

The Kymco Vitality 50 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys. Short urban rides often involve frequent stops, tight parking spaces and leaving the bike unattended between trips. That makes practical accessories particularly relevant: the aim may be to look after it while parked, keep directions in view on unfamiliar streets or make a longer ride feel less exposed to the wind. Which of these matters most depends on how you use your Vitality 50 from day to day.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco Vitality 50

• Protectors: city riding can mean manoeuvring close to kerbs, walls and other parked vehicles. Protectors are worth considering for the areas they are designed to cover, particularly if you regularly park in restricted spaces or move the scooter around by hand.
• Phone mounts: useful when a familiar commute turns into a trip to a new address, or when several errands take you across town. A mount keeps your phone positioned where you can see your route without taking it out of a pocket at every stop.
• Security locks: a sensible addition if the Vitality 50 spends time parked outside while you work, study or run errands. Think about how a lock fits into your daily routine, including the need to carry it when one journey involves more than one stop.
• Screens: these can help deflect some of the airflow from your upper body. Their benefit is most relevant if your rides include more open roads or longer stretches between stops, rather than only brief journeys through slow-moving city traffic.

For a Kymco Vitality 50 from 2005 to 2010, it helps to start with the part of the journey you want to improve. Parking, finding your way and riding through moving air call for different accessories, so there is no need to treat every daily ride the same way.
