Accessories for the Kymco X-Town CT 300i ABS

The Kymco X-Town CT 300i ABS is a scooter suited to getting around town and covering everyday journeys. That pattern of riding involves more than time on the road: frequent parking, exposure to the weather and cooler commutes can all shape which accessories are worth fitting. It makes sense to think about the time your scooter spends stationary as well as how it feels to ride.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco X-Town CT 300i ABS

• Protectors: manoeuvring into parking spaces and moving through busy streets are part of daily scooter use. Protectors help look after exposed areas when minor knocks or scuffs happen during those moments. They are particularly relevant if the X-Town CT 300i ABS is your regular way of getting around.
• Locks: a town journey often means stopping more than once, whether you are commuting or running errands. A lock adds a security measure while the scooter is parked. If you leave it at several places during the day, this is an accessory you are likely to use repeatedly.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover is useful when the scooter is left outside between journeys; a leg cover can make riding in colder weather more comfortable. Both address familiar parts of everyday scooter use, but at different times: one while it is parked, the other while you are on the move.
• Handlebar accessories: the handlebars are where you control the scooter through turns, traffic and slow parking manoeuvres. Accessories for this area let you tailor a frequently used point of contact, especially if your day involves a succession of short rides rather than one uninterrupted trip.

Think about the journeys you make most often and where you leave the scooter between them. That will help you weigh up protection, security and comfort without treating every accessory as equally important for your routine.
