Accessories for the Kymco Xciting 500 ABS

The Kymco Xciting 500 ABS is a scooter suited to everyday journeys as well as longer rides on the road. Those different uses shape which accessories are worth considering. Regular stops, parking and changes of direction are part of a typical day in town; on a longer trip, navigation and the time you spend riding become more important. Start with where you actually ride, rather than fitting something simply because it is available.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco Xciting 500 ABS

• Protectors: useful for a scooter that spends time in busy streets, shared parking areas and low-speed manoeuvres. They are particularly relevant when the bike is part of your daily routine rather than something you only take out occasionally.
• Phone mounts: keep directions in view when a familiar commute turns into a journey across town or a ride somewhere new. They make it easier to follow a route with several turns without repeatedly stopping to check your phone.
• Security devices: worth considering if your day includes several stops and the Xciting is parked in different places. Locking it up can become part of the routine whether you are commuting or heading out for the weekend.
• Covers and leg covers: this category is relevant if the scooter is left parked for hours or you keep riding when the weather turns colder. Daily use often means dealing with conditions you would avoid on an occasional ride.

Choosing accessories for your Xciting 500 ABS by year

The bike has changed over the years. Accessories for the 2005-2006 and 2007-2023 versions are not necessarily interchangeable, particularly protectors and phone mounts. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only parts that fit yours, rather than items intended for a different version.

A town-focused routine and a longer ride with directions to follow place different demands on the scooter. Let those journeys guide which accessories you look at first.
