Accessories for the Kymco Xciting S 400

The Kymco Xciting S 400 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys in town as well as rides beyond it. Those two settings put different demands on an accessory: security matters when you leave the scooter parked during the day, while wind protection and somewhere to carry your belongings become more useful on longer runs. Here you can explore accessories for the Xciting S 400 from 2019 to 2025.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco Xciting S 400

• Protectors: regular parking in busy streets or shared garages can mean the occasional knock or scuff. Protectors are worth considering if your Xciting S 400 sees frequent daily use and you want to look after the areas each piece is made to cover.
• Screens: if your route includes faster roads as well as urban traffic, a screen can help take some of the airflow off your upper body. It is particularly relevant when a short city commute turns into a longer ride at the weekend.
• Security locks: these make sense for a scooter left outside the office, at a station or near the places you visit regularly. For day-to-day use, consider how you will carry the lock between stops as well as where you park.
• Luggage: extra carrying space is handy for work essentials, errands and trips out of town. It lets you take what you need on the Xciting S 400 without relying on a rucksack for every journey.
• Covers and leg covers: these are worth a look if you ride through colder months or leave the scooter outdoors. Depending on the item, they can make chilly journeys more manageable or help keep the parked bike sheltered.

Think about where you spend most of your riding time. A scooter used for frequent stops in town calls for a different mix of accessories from one that regularly covers longer distances on the road.
