Accessories for the Kymco Zing 125

The Kymco Zing 125 is a custom-style motorcycle suited to unhurried rides as well as everyday journeys. That mix of leisurely road use and low-speed manoeuvring shapes what is worth fitting to it. Rather than focusing on a sporty set-up, it makes sense to consider how much wind you meet on open roads and where you park the bike during the week. A screen and a set of protectors address those two parts of life with the Zing 125 in different ways.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco Zing 125

The accessories available for this model centre on screens and protectors. Think about whether most of your time is spent riding through town or enjoying longer stretches of road: the answer will help you decide which to look at first.

• Screens: the riding position on a custom-style bike leaves your upper body in the airflow. A screen can divert some of the wind when your Zing 125 takes you beyond short urban trips. That matters on a steady ride out of town, where continued wind pressure may become tiring even if you are in no hurry. Puig is among the brands offering screens for this motorcycle.
• Protectors: relaxed riding still involves parking bays, tight spaces and slow turns. Protectors help shield parts of the bike against scuffs or minor knocks in those situations. They are particularly relevant if you use the Zing 125 for routine journeys as well as occasional weekend rides, rather than keeping it solely for a dry-day outing.

For more time on open roads, start with the screens. If parking and daily manoeuvres are a bigger part of your riding, the protectors deserve a closer look.
