Accessories for the Malaguti Centro 125 i.e.

The Malaguti Centro 125 i.e. is a scooter suited to everyday urban journeys, from commuting to running errands. When a bike is used for short trips with frequent stops, practical needs tend to come first. Think about where you leave it during the day, whether it spends time parked outside and which parts of the scooter you use most often. Those habits give you a useful starting point for choosing accessories.

What riders usually fit to the Malaguti Centro 125 i.e.

For a scooter that spends its time moving through town and waiting between journeys, these accessory types are particularly relevant:

• Security locks: worth considering if you park the Centro 125 i.e. while at work, at the shops or between appointments. A lock is relevant to those repeated stops, not just to overnight parking. It helps make securing the scooter part of your usual routine before you walk away.
• Covers and leg covers: useful at different points in the day. A cover can shield the parked scooter from dust and dirt, while a leg cover can make colder urban rides more comfortable. This category is especially pertinent if you ride through the year and cannot always leave the scooter under cover.
• Handlebar accessories: the handlebar area is involved every time you steer through streets, make a tight turn or manoeuvre into a parking space. It is a sensible place to focus on a scooter used for frequent, short journeys where low-speed handling is part of the daily ride.

For a Centro 125 i.e. from 2007 to 2011, start with the realities of your own routine: where it is parked, how often you stop and the weather you normally ride in.
