Accessories for the Malaguti Centro 160 i.e.

The Malaguti Centro 160 i.e. is a scooter suited to everyday journeys around town. For that kind of riding, the time between trips matters too: you may leave it parked while you work, stop at several places in one day or head out when the weather is less inviting. Accessories for this model are therefore worth considering in terms of parking security, protection from the elements and the parts of the scooter you use on every ride.

What riders usually fit to the Malaguti Centro 160 i.e.

Start with the journeys you actually make. A short ride followed by sheltered parking creates different priorities from a day spent travelling between appointments and leaving the scooter outside. The following accessory types are available for the Centro 160 i.e.; each addresses a different part of that everyday routine:

• Security locks: these make particular sense when your Centro 160 i.e. is parked while you are at work, shopping or making several stops across town. A lock from a brand such as Artago suits a routine in which securing the scooter is something you do repeatedly, not just at the end of the day.
• Covers and leg covers: this category is useful to consider if you ride throughout the year. A cover is intended for time spent parked, while a leg cover addresses the discomfort of riding in colder weather. Which matters more depends on whether your scooter spends longer outside between journeys or you spend longer riding it.
• Handlebar accessories: the handlebar is part of every low-speed turn, stop at the lights and departure through town. Accessories in this category focus on an area you use constantly, particularly when your day consists of several short journeys rather than one longer ride.

If you regularly park outdoors and ride in poor weather, it is sensible to think about security and weather protection together. For this scooter's everyday urban role, those practical considerations can be more relevant than equipment aimed at long-distance touring.
