Accessories for the Malaguti Madison 250

The Malaguti Madison 250 is a scooter suited to everyday travel around town. Whether it is used for a regular commute or short trips across the city, its accessories need to make sense for frequent stops, time spent parked and changing weather. That points towards items for the brakes, protection while the scooter is standing outside and comfort on colder rides, rather than equipment aimed at long-distance touring. This page brings together accessories for the Madison 250 from 1999 to 2006.

What riders usually fit to the Malaguti Madison 250

• Brakes: riding between junctions, roundabouts and traffic lights means braking repeatedly, even on a short journey. Brake parts are therefore especially relevant to a Madison 250 used day after day. They help you deal with wear from that stop-start routine and keep the braking system in suitable condition. Braking is among the accessory brands listed for this model.
• Covers and leg covers: if your Madison 250 spends much of the day parked outdoors, a cover can shield it from dust and the weather while it is not in use. A leg cover serves a different purpose: it helps protect your legs from cold air when you continue commuting through the colder months. Both answer familiar needs for a scooter used around town, rather than on occasional fair-weather rides alone.
• Handlebar accessories: low-speed manoeuvres, turns and repeated use of the controls are part of urban riding. Handlebar parts are worth considering when setting up the Madison 250 for that routine, because hand position and easy access to the controls matter when one stop follows another. The priority here is day-to-day ease of use, not preparing the scooter for a different style of riding.

Think about where the scooter waits between journeys as well as the journeys themselves. A daily ride through town, outdoor parking and winter commuting each put a different accessory to work.
