Accessories for the MBK Booster 100

The MBK Booster 100 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys. In town, frequent stops, changing weather and the time it spends parked can matter just as much as the ride itself. That makes it worth thinking about protection from the elements, your riding position and the feel you want when slowing down. Here you will find accessories for the Booster 100 covering the years 1999 to 2003, with choices that reflect how a small urban scooter is actually used.

What riders usually fit to the MBK Booster 100

There is no need to treat every journey alike. A scooter that waits outside between errands calls for something different from one that sees regular rides on chilly mornings. These accessory types address those distinct parts of daily use.

• Covers and leg covers: a cover is useful when you leave the Booster 100 parked and want to protect it while it is not in use. A leg cover addresses the ride rather than the parking spot, adding shelter for your legs when cold or damp weather makes the commute less pleasant.
• Handlebar accessories: threading through streets, negotiating roundabouts and making slow-speed turns all put your hands and riding position to work. This is an area to consider if you want the scooter to feel more comfortable on repeated short trips, while keeping room to steer naturally.
• Brake accessories: town riding means slowing for junctions, traffic and crossings throughout the journey. Paying attention to the brakes makes particular sense when you use the Booster 100 in stop-start conditions and care about the feel and control you get each time you slow down.

Accessory brands available for this model include Tucano Urbano, Highsider and Braking. Start with the conditions you ride in most often, then consider what happens to the scooter after you park it.
