Accessories for the MBK Oceo 125

The MBK Oceo 125 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys around town. That sort of riding involves short trips, frequent stops and plenty of time parked between outings. It also means that comfort on the way to work may matter just as much as keeping the scooter covered while it is standing outside. When choosing accessories for the Oceo 125, it helps to separate what you need while riding from what you need once you have parked. The items on this page address both sides of that routine.

What riders usually fit to the MBK Oceo 125

• Covers and leg covers: a cover is useful when your Oceo 125 spends part of the day parked and you want to shield it from dust and the weather. A leg cover serves a different purpose, helping to keep your legs sheltered on colder or wetter rides. For a scooter used throughout the week, one is for the hours between journeys and the other is for the journey itself.
• Handlebar parts: steering through traffic, turning into parking spaces and making repeated low-speed manoeuvres all keep your hands busy. Handlebar accessories are worth considering in the context of those everyday movements, rather than an occasional long ride. Think about where you place your hands and how the controls feel during the trips you actually make on the Oceo 125.
• Screens: a screen can divert some of the airflow away from the rider. It makes particular sense if your town journeys also include broader roads or stretches on the way in and out of the city, where the wind is more noticeable than it is on a short trip through local streets.

For the MBK Oceo 125, the choice comes down to your daily pattern: how long it stays parked, what the weather is like when you ride and whether your route takes you beyond slower city streets.
