Accessories for the Moto Guzzi V7 850 Special

The Moto Guzzi V7 850 Special is a classic-style roadster that suits everyday journeys as well as relaxed rides on the open road. How you use it makes a difference to what is worth fitting. A short trip through town, a day on winding roads and a weekend away each call for something slightly different.

What riders usually fit to the Moto Guzzi V7 850 Special

• Protectors: these can help shield exposed areas from a scrape or a stationary drop. They make sense if your rides take in narrow streets and busy parking spaces as well as quieter roads.
• Screens: a screen can take some of the wind pressure off you when a leisurely ride turns into a longer stretch at road speed. Its appearance also matters on a bike with such a classic look.
• Panniers: useful for carrying a change of clothes and other essentials on an overnight ride, without having to wear a backpack for the whole journey. They also make room for the things you want to keep with you during a day out.
• Handlebars: hand position affects how you feel after time in the saddle, particularly when you spend the day moving between bends and open stretches. It is worth considering if you want a riding position better suited to your usual routes.
• Footpegs: where your feet rest can shape your comfort in town and your posture through a series of bends. They are one way to tailor the feel of the bike to the riding you do most.

Moto Guzzi V7 850 Special versions by year

The bike has changed over the years, so parts for the 2020 version and the 2021-2026 versions are not always interchangeable. Protectors, screens and panniers are among the items where this matters most. Choose your bike’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours; the model name alone does not tell the whole story.

For longer rides, wind protection and room for luggage may make a more noticeable difference than a change made purely for looks.
