Accessories for the Moto Guzzi V7 Cafe

The Moto Guzzi V7 Cafe has café racer style and lends itself to relaxed rides as well as everyday journeys. On a bike like this, where you ride matters: your position at the bars can shape a winding-road outing, while parking and regular town use bring protection into focus. Choosing accessories around those real journeys helps keep the bike suited to the way you use it.

What riders usually fit to the Moto Guzzi V7 Cafe

• Handlebars: these are worth considering if you want to fine-tune how the V7 Cafe feels beneath you. The position of your hands affects your posture when negotiating traffic and when spending longer stretches on the road. Think about which rides you do most often: an enjoyable position for a short weekend run may feel different on your regular journey across town.
• Covers and blankets: useful when the bike spends part of the day parked rather than being ridden. A cover can help protect the V7 Cafe between outings, particularly if it is usually left outside at home or while you are at work. This is less about changing the ride and more about looking after the bike in the places where your journeys begin and end.
• Crash protectors and guards: a practical consideration for low-speed manoeuvres and parking, whether you use the V7 Cafe for local trips or head out on quieter roads. They can help protect exposed areas from the sort of knocks that happen when moving or leaving a bike in a tight space, without changing what you use it for.

For the V7 Cafe from 2014 to 2017, the choice comes down to what you want to address first: riding position, protection while manoeuvring or care when parked. Your usual routes and parking arrangements are a useful starting point.
