Accessories for MOTO GUZZI V7 II SPECIAL

Accessories for the Moto Guzzi V7 II Special

The Moto Guzzi V7 II Special is a classic-style road bike that lends itself to unhurried rides as well as everyday journeys. That mix of uses is worth keeping in mind when choosing accessories. The way the bars feel matters on a longer stretch of road, while protection becomes more relevant when the bike spends time in town or is regularly manoeuvred into a parking space. This page covers accessories for the V7 II Special from 2015 to 2017.

What riders usually fit to the Moto Guzzi V7 II Special

A ride on a V7 II Special can be about the route as much as the destination. These accessory types address different parts of that experience, from your position in the saddle to looking after the bike between outings:

• Handlebars: where your hands sit affects your posture and how the bike feels through a succession of bends. They are worth considering if your V7 II Special has to feel comfortable both on a relaxed weekend ride and when threading through town.
• Covers and blankets: these make sense if the bike is often left outside or you continue riding during colder weather. Depending on the item, the emphasis may be on sheltering the parked motorcycle or helping to shield you from the elements.
• Exhausts: for a classic-style bike, sound and appearance are part of the riding experience. On the V7 II Special, consider how an exhaust works with the bike's overall silhouette rather than judging it in isolation.
• Crash protection: useful to consider when parking or handling the bike at low speed, particularly if it is part of your daily routine. Bungs and guards can help protect areas of the motorcycle in a minor mishap, although they cannot prevent every mark or repair.

Think about whether most of your time with the V7 II Special is spent on open roads, making short trips or leaving it parked outdoors. That gives you a practical way to prioritise riding position, protection or care between rides.
