Accessories for the Moto Guzzi V7 IV 850 Centenario

The Moto Guzzi V7 IV 850 Centenario is a classic-looking naked bike suited to everyday journeys and relaxed rides along country roads. The accessories worth fitting depend on where those journeys take you. Regular town use puts the emphasis on practical navigation and protection during parking manoeuvres, while longer days out bring wind exposure and your contact points with the bike into focus.

What riders usually fit to the Moto Guzzi V7 IV 850 Centenario

• Screens: useful when a country-road ride starts with a stretch of motorway. A screen helps deflect airflow on those faster sections. On a traditionally styled V7, its shape is also a noticeable part of the bike’s appearance, so wind coverage and looks deserve consideration together.
• Phone mounts: handy for finding an unfamiliar address in town or following a new weekend route. A mount holds your phone for navigation without keeping it in a pocket. Set your destination before moving off, and stop somewhere safe if you need to make changes.
• Protectors: worth considering for a V7 used daily, with frequent parking and low-speed manoeuvres. They can help limit damage to the areas they cover in a minor fall, although they do not remove the need for care when moving or turning the bike by hand.
• Footrests: relevant when a short Sunday outing becomes a full day on back roads. Your feet are part of how you support yourself on the V7, so changes here should serve the riding position you want rather than simply alter the bike’s appearance.
• Indicators: a way to change a visible detail while keeping the overall preparation understated. Their design can complement the V7’s classic character, but their everyday role remains clear: signalling your intentions at junctions and when changing direction through busy town traffic.
