Accessories for the Moto Guzzi V7 Special Edition

The Moto Guzzi V7 Special Edition is a classic-style roadster suited to everyday journeys and unhurried rides along country roads. The accessories worth adding depend on how those miles add up: town riding puts the emphasis on practical details, while longer outings make wind protection and luggage more useful. Think about what you carry and how much time you spend on open roads before deciding where to start.

What riders usually fit to the Moto Guzzi V7 Special Edition

• Screens: useful when a country-road outing also involves faster main roads or motorway links. A screen helps divert airflow away from your upper body. A smaller option keeps the classic styling prominent, while greater coverage becomes more appealing for longer days out.
• Phone mounts: keep navigation in view for unfamiliar city streets and routes beyond your usual weekend circuit. If your V7 handles both the commute and leisure rides, a mount gives the phone a dedicated position rather than leaving it tucked away in a pocket.
• Protectors and crash bars: help shield the areas they cover from knocks or stationary falls. They are worth considering for a V7 regularly parked around town, particularly when your routine includes pushing the bike into a tight garage or manoeuvring between parked vehicles.
• Luggage: makes room for clothes and personal items on overnight trips without spending the whole ride wearing a rucksack. For weekday use, it also provides a way to carry everyday belongings while keeping your back free on the journey.
• Handlebars: offer a way to adjust your riding position, rather than simply changing the V7’s appearance. On leisurely country-road rides, where you place your hands affects how you settle your arms and back for the miles ahead.

A commuting-focused setup need not be the same as a weekend touring one. Prioritise navigation and protection for town use, or wind coverage and carrying space when longer rides become the norm.
