Accessories for the Moto Morini X-Cape 700

The Moto Morini X-Cape 700 is an adventure bike suited to everyday journeys as well as longer rides. That mix shapes what is worth fitting: luggage matters when you are travelling with more than the essentials, while wind protection becomes more noticeable as the miles add up. Think about where you spend most of your riding time, rather than treating every journey as though it makes the same demands on the bike.

What riders usually fit to the Moto Morini X-Cape 700

For this bike, it helps to start with three practical questions: what do you need to carry, how long are you riding for, and where do you regularly stop or manoeuvre? The accessory types available for the X-Cape 700 address those needs in different ways:

• Panniers: make room for clothes and personal belongings on a trip, so you do not have to wear a rucksack for hours. They can also be useful when a regular commute calls for more carrying space than the pockets of your riding kit provide.
• Screens: help manage the airflow on longer road sections. If your X-Cape 700 takes you beyond short local rides, a screen is especially relevant when you are holding a steady pace and spending more time exposed to the wind.
• Crash bars and protectors: are worth considering for a bike used in varied settings, from city traffic to stops and slow manoeuvres on a day out. Their purpose is to help protect exposed areas in a low-speed drop.

If your plans centre on touring, carrying space may be the first thing to consider. For regular journeys punctuated by weekend rides, wind protection or protection for slow-speed mishaps may be more relevant. The right starting point is how you actually use your X-Cape 700.
