Accessories for the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Oro

The MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Oro is a sports-focused naked bike, well suited to enjoying winding roads. Choosing accessories means balancing that kind of riding with the less glamorous parts of a journey: traffic, motorway links and longer stretches in the saddle. Wind exposure and your contact with the controls are useful starting points, particularly when the same bike handles both weekend rides and everyday journeys.

What riders usually fit to the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Oro

• Screens: Without the wind coverage of a fully faired bike, a screen can help divert airflow away from your torso. It is a practical addition when reaching your favourite twisty roads involves motorway miles or exposed open roads.
• Levers: Brake and clutch operation matters on winding routes, but repeated use in town makes comfort important too. Lever shape and reach influence how naturally your fingers work the controls while your hands maintain a comfortable grip.
• Protectors: These help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike falls. For a Brutale used around town as well as on weekend outings, low-speed manoeuvres and moving the bike into parking spaces make protection worth considering.
• Handlebars: Hand position affects the load carried by your arms and upper body. Combining spirited road riding with urban journeys calls for a riding position that lets you stay relaxed rather than keeping your arms tense.
• Footpegs: Secure foot support plays a part when moving through a sequence of bends. Peg position also influences knee bend, which becomes more noticeable when a short ride turns into several hours on the road.

For mixed use, address your riding position and protection first. Styling changes can follow once the bike feels comfortable on the routes you ride most often.
