Accessories for the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS

The MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS is a sporting naked bike suited to winding-road rides as well as everyday journeys. Choosing accessories for that mix is less about adding equipment everywhere and more about addressing wind exposure, protecting exposed areas and making the riding position work for you. A regular commute and a long weekend ride can put quite different demands on your hands, legs and upper body.

What riders usually fit to the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS

• Screens: reaching a favourite stretch of bends often involves faster, more open roads. A screen helps redirect some of the airflow you encounter on a naked bike, making wind protection a useful priority when those connecting miles form a substantial part of your ride.
• Protectors: with the relatively open bodywork of a naked bike, protecting exposed areas is worth considering. Protectors aim to limit damage to the parts they cover, including during the low-speed mishaps that can happen while manoeuvring the Brutale in a confined parking space.
• Levers and handlebars: stop-start traffic means frequent use of the controls, while a winding road calls for a comfortable, controlled riding position. These contact points are worth considering together when tailoring wrist position and the reach to the controls.
• Footpegs: secure foot placement matters when moving your body through a series of bends. For the Brutale’s sporting road use, think about that support alongside leg position, particularly if a short blast regularly turns into several hours in the saddle.
• Number plate holders: these suit a styling-led approach to personalising the Brutale. They change how the plate sits within the rear-end design, offering a way to alter the bike’s appearance without adding more bodywork to its naked outline.

For weekday riding and weekend escapes, start with your contact points and protection. A screen becomes a stronger priority if reaching the twisty roads means spending plenty of time on faster routes.
