Accessories for the MV Agusta Brutale 750

The MV Agusta Brutale 750 is a naked bike suited to city riding and days out on winding roads. How you ride it makes a difference to what is worth fitting: a short everyday journey calls for something different from a weekend ride with a few belongings to carry. Here you can explore accessories for Brutale 750 bikes from 2001 to 2006, covering the riding position, luggage and ways to look after the bike when it is parked.

What riders usually fit to the MV Agusta Brutale 750

With this kind of bike, it is worth thinking about how the controls feel in your hands, what you take on a ride and where the bike spends its time off the road. These accessory types address those different needs:

• Handlebars: these affect where your hands sit and how you feel at the controls. They are particularly relevant if your Brutale 750 has to handle both frequent turns on urban streets and longer stretches of twisting road.
• Covers and blankets: useful when the bike is parked between rides. A cover can help keep dust off a Brutale 750 that is not used every day, so think about where you normally leave it and how often you need access to it.
• Caps and plugs: a way to pay attention to the smaller details of the bike without changing its naked-bike character. They make sense if you want to focus on particular fittings and the parts you notice when you are close to the bike.
• Luggage cases: useful when a ride becomes a day away or a short trip and you need room for your belongings. They can also make everyday journeys more comfortable if you would rather not carry everything in a backpack.

The most useful starting point is the journey you make most often. For regular rides on winding roads, you may want to focus on the controls; for commuting or trips away, carrying space is likely to matter more.
