Accessories for the MV Agusta Superveloce 800

The MV Agusta Superveloce 800 combines sports-bike style with a classic look, making it a natural fit for leisure rides and winding roads. Accessories for this kind of riding should earn their place: by making the controls comfortable to use, supporting your feet or adding protection. How each part sits alongside the bike’s distinctive styling also deserves some thought.

What riders usually fit to the MV Agusta Superveloce 800

• Levers: on a twisty route, repeated braking and gear changes make the relationship between your hands and the controls especially noticeable. Prioritise a lever shape and reach that work with your riding gloves, without making you stretch or bend your wrist awkwardly.
• Footpegs: secure contact with your boots matters when riding a sports bike through a succession of bends. Consider both foot support during more active riding and how comfortable the position feels on the stretches of road between your favourite sections.
• Mirrors: keeping track of following traffic is important on open roads and through town. For the Superveloce 800, the useful balance is between a clear view from your normal riding position and a shape that suits its classic sporting appearance.
• Protectors: these can help reduce damage to the areas they cover in certain knocks or falls. They are worth considering for everyday use, particularly when manoeuvring at low speed or moving the bike into a parking space.
• Screens: longer road rides put more emphasis on airflow. Screen shape affects the wind reaching you in a sporting riding position, so consider coverage alongside appearance rather than assuming that a larger screen is automatically the right choice.

For short rides focused on bends, start with your contact points. If your outings often become full days on the road, give wind protection greater priority.
