Accessories for the NIU MQi+ Sport

The NIU MQi+ Sport is an electric scooter suited to everyday city travel. Short journeys, regular stops and parking on the street all shape what is useful to fit. Rather than focusing on long-distance luggage, you may want to think about protecting the scooter from minor knocks, securing it while it is parked and taking some of the wind out of your ride. The routes you take and where you leave the scooter are good starting points.

What riders usually fit to the NIU MQi+ Sport

• Protectors: Tight parking spaces and low-speed manoeuvres are familiar parts of urban riding. Protectors help shield exposed areas from scuffs and small knocks, which is worth considering if you often park close to other bikes or navigate narrow streets. Their role here is practical protection during the everyday handling of a city scooter.
• Locks: A journey across town can involve several stops, each one a time when the scooter is left unattended. A lock matters particularly if your MQi+ Sport spends time parked outside while you work, study or run errands. Think about the places you regularly stop, not just where you park it overnight.
• Screens: A screen can take some of the airflow off you as you ride. That can make a difference on open roads and wider city routes, especially when you repeat the same journey throughout the year. For this scooter, the appeal is greater comfort on familiar daily trips rather than preparation for touring.

NIU MQi+ Sport versions by year

The MQi+ Sport has changed between the 2019 version and those from 2020 to 2026. As a result, parts such as protectors and screens are not necessarily interchangeable across those years, even though the scooter keeps the same name. Choose your scooter’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours. You can then focus on what will make the most difference to your own journeys.

If most of your riding is in town, start with where you park and how exposed you feel on your regular route. Those two questions point to different kinds of accessory.
