Accessories for the Peugeot Satelis 400

The Peugeot Satelis 400 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys that mix town streets with stretches of open road. That combination shapes what is worth fitting: frequent parking and low-speed manoeuvres call for different considerations from a longer ride beyond the city. Rather than focusing on one kind of journey, think about how often you leave the scooter while running errands, where it might pick up a scrape and how much of your riding involves stop-start traffic.

What riders usually fit to the Peugeot Satelis 400

The accessories here include protectors, security locks and handlebar parts. They address the practical side of using a scooter regularly, from getting into a tight parking space to leaving it during a stop. Puig, Artago and Tucano Urbano are among the accessory brands available for this model.

• Protectors: useful for areas exposed to scuffs and minor knocks when parking or moving the Satelis 400 through a confined space. For a scooter ridden around town, those everyday moments can be just as relevant as the time spent travelling on the road.
• Security locks: worth considering when a journey involves several stops rather than one ride from start to finish. If you leave the scooter while at work or out on an errand, a lock adds a security measure for the time it spends parked, particularly away from private parking.
• Handlebar accessories: relate to the part of the riding position you use through every junction, slow turn and parking manoeuvre. On the Satelis 400, town riding gives those controls a different role from simply holding a steady course on a longer road journey.

How you use and park your Satelis 400 will help you decide which of these areas deserves attention first. A regular commute and a journey with several stops may put different demands on the same scooter.
