Accessories for the Peugeot Speedfight 1 100 S2AA

The Peugeot Speedfight 1 100 S2AA is a scooter suited to everyday journeys: getting across town, running errands and making short trips. That sort of riding puts the focus on practical additions rather than touring equipment. Keeping directions in view, taking some of the wind off the rider and looking after a scooter parked outdoors can all matter during an ordinary week.

Think about where you ride as well as where the scooter spends the rest of the day. Frequent stops and tight urban manoeuvres put different demands on an accessory from an open stretch of road, while changing weather matters both when you are riding and when you have parked.

What riders usually fit to the Peugeot Speedfight 1 100 S2AA

• Protectors: useful for a scooter that is regularly wheeled into parking spaces and moved around at low speed. They help look after the areas they are designed to cover against everyday scuffs.
• Phone mounts: keep route guidance in sight when a familiar journey takes you to an unfamiliar address. For stop-start riding across town, that is handier than repeatedly pulling over to check your directions.
• Screens: provide some shelter from the airflow at the riding position. They are particularly relevant if your regular route includes broader roads as well as slower streets.
• Covers and leg covers: address two sides of daily scooter use: leaving the bike outside and riding through cooler or wetter conditions. Tucano Urbano is among the accessory brands available for this model.
• Handlebars: worth considering when you want to focus on the part of the riding position you use constantly, especially with all the turning and low-speed manoeuvring involved in town riding.

On this Speedfight, the most useful additions depend on the journey you actually make. A short run through local streets calls for different priorities from a daily route that regularly takes you onto more open roads.
