Accessories for the Peugeot Speedfight 1 50 AC

The Peugeot Speedfight 1 50 AC is a scooter suited to getting around town. Short journeys, frequent stops and time spent parked all shape what is useful to fit. For a Speedfight 1 50 AC from 1997 to 2001, it makes sense to think about protection, the riding position and exposure to wind and weather, rather than treating every accessory as equally important.

What riders usually fit to the Peugeot Speedfight 1 50 AC

• Protectors: Town riding often means parking beside other vehicles and manoeuvring in tight spaces. Protectors help look after exposed areas against minor scrapes, making them worth considering if your Speedfight spends its days moving between busy streets and parking spots.
• Phone mounts: A mount keeps your phone in view when you use it for directions across town. With junctions coming up regularly, it is useful to set your route before leaving and have the next turn visible without reaching for your phone.
• Screens: A screen can divert some of the airflow around the front of the scooter. That matters more when your journeys take you from sheltered streets onto open roads, or when you ride often enough for wind exposure to become part of the daily routine.
• Covers and leg covers: A cover is relevant if the Speedfight is parked outside for long periods. A leg cover serves a different purpose: helping shield the rider from cold air on the move. Both address familiar parts of using a scooter throughout the week.
• Handlebar parts: On a scooter used for repeated stops, turns and parking manoeuvres, the area around the handlebars is central to how each journey feels. Handlebar parts are worth considering when you are paying particular attention to the controls and your riding position.

Think about where most of your journeys take place before deciding what to fit. A route made up of short city hops raises different priorities from one that regularly includes more exposed roads, even on the same Speedfight.
