Accessories for the Peugeot Speedfight 1 50 LC

The Peugeot Speedfight 1 50 LC is a scooter suited to getting around town and making short journeys. Accessories for this sort of riding are most useful when they address an everyday need: exposure to the weather, regular parking or finding your way across town. This page covers the 1997 to 2001 model years, so you can focus on what matters for your own riding.

What riders usually fit to the Peugeot Speedfight 1 50 LC

Rather than preparing this scooter for long-distance touring, it makes sense to consider where you leave it, when you ride and which parts of the daily journey could be more comfortable.

• Protectors: frequent stops and parking in shared spaces can mean the occasional knock or scrape. These accessories help look after the areas they are designed to cover, particularly when the scooter is standing still.
• Phone mounts: useful for keeping directions in view when navigating unfamiliar streets. On a short urban trip, having a place for your phone can save you from taking it out of your pocket at each stop.
• Screens: offer some shelter from oncoming air. They are worth considering if your usual route includes open roads as well as sheltered city streets, especially when the wind makes the ride less pleasant.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover is handy when the Speedfight spends time parked outdoors. A leg cover serves a different purpose, helping to shield your legs while riding through colder or wetter weather.
• Handlebars: relevant if you want to revisit your riding position. Where a route involves repeated junctions, turns and low-speed manoeuvres, the way your hands and arms sit can make a noticeable difference.

You'll find accessories from brands including Puig and Tucano Urbano. Start with the conditions you encounter most often: your regular route, the weather you ride in and where the scooter is parked between journeys.
