Accessories for the Peugeot Speedfight 4 50 2T AC E2

The Peugeot Speedfight 4 50 2T AC E2 is a scooter suited to city riding and everyday journeys. When a bike is used for short trips, frequent stops and busy streets, the most useful additions are often those that make the daily routine easier. Rather than thinking about touring luggage, it makes more sense to consider how you park, find your way across town and cope with the air on longer stretches.

What riders usually fit to the Peugeot Speedfight 4 50 2T AC E2

The accessories available for this scooter address three familiar aspects of urban riding: looking after exposed areas, keeping directions in view and adding some shelter from the wind. Which matters most depends on where you ride and how often you stop.

• Protectors: worth considering if your Speedfight is parked and moved several times throughout the day. They help look after the areas they are designed to cover, which is relevant to a scooter used around kerbs, tight parking spaces and low-speed manoeuvres. Their appeal is practical: they suit the stop-start nature of a typical trip across town.
• Phone mounts: useful when your usual commute is mixed with unfamiliar addresses. A mounted phone can keep navigation directions in sight without making you stop to check your route repeatedly. Set your destination before moving off, and only glance at the screen when it is safe; the point is to make finding your way less distracting, not to take attention away from traffic.
• Screens: an option for riders who notice the wind on the more open parts of their regular journeys. A screen can provide some shelter for the upper body, making those stretches more comfortable. On this scooter, it is a way to improve everyday riding rather than to turn a short-distance machine into a touring bike.

Puig is among the accessory brands available for the 2015–2017 Speedfight 4 50 2T AC E2. Think about which part of your regular ride you would most like to improve: parking, navigation or time spent riding into the wind.
