Accessories for the Peugeot TKR 50

The Peugeot TKR 50 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys, particularly the kind that involve city streets, frequent stops and short trips. That pattern of use calls for a different approach from fitting out a motorcycle for long-distance travel. Keeping directions in view, taking some of the wind off your upper body and looking after exposed areas can all be relevant to a scooter you use regularly. The accessories on this page let you focus on what would make your own TKR 50 more useful day to day.

What riders usually fit to the Peugeot TKR 50

• Protectors: parking, manoeuvring and making several stops in one journey can mean more opportunities for minor knocks and scuffs. Protectors are worth considering if your TKR 50 spends plenty of time parked outside or you often use it for errands around town. They help shield particular areas rather than changing how you ride.
• Phone mounts: when a familiar commute turns into a journey across town to an unfamiliar address, a visible navigation screen can make following the route easier. A mount is especially useful on a scooter used for varied short journeys. Set your destination before leaving, and stop the TKR 50 before making any changes.
• Screens: a screen can deflect some airflow away from your upper body on more open stretches between built-up streets. If your daily ride on the Peugeot TKR 50 includes those sections, or you use it throughout the year, the extra shelter may be more useful than it would be for journeys confined to slower local streets.

Think about where you spend most of your riding time before deciding what to fit. A route with constant stops puts different demands on the scooter from one with longer, more exposed stretches, even when both are everyday journeys.
