Accessories for the Peugeot Tweet 125

The Peugeot Tweet 125 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys, particularly around town. Its routine may involve traffic lights, tight parking spaces and the same commute several times a week. That makes practical accessories more relevant than kit aimed at long-distance touring: think about wind on open roads, finding an unfamiliar address and leaving the scooter parked while you get on with your day. What matters most depends on whether you stay on local streets or regularly ride across town.

What riders usually fit to the Peugeot Tweet 125

• Screens: useful when your journey includes broader roads or exposed stretches between built-up areas. A screen can take some of the wind off you, which is worth considering on a scooter you ride frequently, particularly when a short journey feels less short in cold weather.
• Protectors: relevant to a scooter that spends plenty of time near kerbs, in parking bays and being manoeuvred at low speed. They let you pay attention to vulnerable areas during ordinary urban use, rather than treating the Tweet 125 as though it were built for off-road riding.
• Phone mounts: handy when you are following directions to a new destination or making several stops on one trip. Keeping your phone in a mount means you can check the next turn when stopped without rummaging through your belongings at every change of route.
• Security locks: make sense if you park outside work, shops or other places you visit during the day. A lock is particularly worth including in your parking routine when the scooter will be out of sight while you are busy elsewhere.

It is worth matching these choices to the journeys you actually make. A few streets near home place different demands on the scooter from a daily ride across the city, so consider where wind protection, navigation or security would make the biggest difference.
