Accessories for the Piaggio Liberty 150 iGet 3V ABS E5

The Piaggio Liberty 150 iGet 3V ABS E5 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys, from commuting to running errands across town. That kind of riding shapes what is worth fitting: frequent parking puts exposed areas on your mind, while longer stretches on open roads make shelter from the wind more useful. If your destinations change throughout the day, keeping directions in view can matter just as much. The most useful accessories depend on where your own journeys take you.

What riders usually fit to the Piaggio Liberty 150 iGet 3V ABS E5

For this Liberty, the focus is on making regular journeys easier rather than adding equipment you will rarely use. Three accessory types stand out for the way a city scooter is ridden:

• Protectors: help look after exposed parts during the minor knocks and scuffs that can happen when manoeuvring or parking. They are worth considering if your daily routine means leaving the scooter in different places rather than always using the same parking space.
• Screens: provide some shelter from the airflow when your route takes you beyond quieter streets onto wider roads. For a rider making the same trip in both directions day after day, reducing the wind hitting the body can make those stretches more comfortable.
• Phone mounts: keep navigation where you can see it when you are travelling to an unfamiliar address or linking several stops around town. That is particularly handy on a scooter used for practical journeys, where plans may change while you are out.

Puig is among the accessory brands available for this model. Think about whether your usual ride is dominated by stop-start streets, more open roads or changing destinations; each points towards a different first addition.
