Accessories for the Piaggio Liberty S 200

The Piaggio Liberty S 200 is a scooter suited to everyday travel around town. If your riding involves commuting, errands and several stops in a day, it makes sense to focus on practical details rather than equipment intended for long-distance touring. Keeping the wind off, carrying what you need and dealing with frequent parking stops can all shape which accessories are worth fitting to your scooter.

What riders usually fit to the Piaggio Liberty S 200

• Locks: a scooter used for short trips may be left parked at different places throughout the day. A lock adds a deterrent when you step away for an errand or leave the Liberty S 200 outside while at work. Consider how you will carry it between stops as well as where you park.
• Screens: a screen can take some of the wind off your upper body when a town journey includes faster roads. It may also make repeated rides in cooler weather feel less exposed, which matters when the scooter is part of your daily routine rather than an occasional way to get about.
• Luggage: extra carrying space is useful for work essentials, a few purchases or the things you pick up on the way home. It can mean leaving the rucksack behind on journeys where you would rather keep your shoulders free.
• Covers and leg covers: an outdoor cover helps protect the parked Liberty S 200 from the elements. A leg cover serves a different purpose, offering more shelter while you ride during colder months, particularly if you rely on the scooter even when the weather turns.
• Handlebar accessories: when your route involves junctions, traffic lights and low-speed manoeuvres, anything fitted around the controls becomes part of your everyday riding space. Think about what you need close to hand without making that area awkward to use.

This page brings together accessories for the 2007 and 2008 Piaggio Liberty S 200. Your parking routine and what you carry each day are useful starting points when deciding what belongs on your scooter.
