Accessories for the Piaggio Medley 125 ie 4V LC ABS

The Piaggio Medley 125 ie 4V LC ABS is a scooter suited to everyday journeys around town. Whether you use yours for commuting, errands or the occasional ride beyond the city, it makes sense to choose accessories around the trips you actually take. Exposure to wind and weather, the things you carry and the places you park all shape what is worth fitting.

What riders usually fit to the Piaggio Medley 125 ie 4V LC ABS

• Screens: if your journey includes faster stretches as well as city streets, a screen can take some of the wind pressure off the ride. That matters more when you cover the same route regularly rather than making the occasional short trip across town.
• Protectors: tight manoeuvres and shared parking spaces are familiar parts of city riding. Protectors help shield the areas they cover from minor scuffs, which can be useful when you leave the Medley in several different places during the day.
• Phone mounts: these make it easier to follow directions through unfamiliar streets or find a new address. Keeping the route in view is particularly handy on journeys with frequent turns, without having to stop and take your phone out.
• Security locks: when a day involves several stops, locking the scooter becomes part of each parking routine, from the commute to a quick errand. It is also worth considering how you will carry a lock between those stops.
• Covers and leg covers: a leg cover helps shield you from the cold on the move, while a scooter cover is for the hours spent parked outside. They meet different needs, so the weather and where you leave the Medley will guide your choice.

Luggage cases are also an option when you need to bring more along. A regular ride on quicker roads may make a screen the priority; for cold mornings spent crossing town, a leg cover may be more useful.
