Accessories for the Piaggio MP3 Yourban 125

The Piaggio MP3 Yourban 125 is a three-wheeled scooter suited to city travel. For a machine used to commute, run errands and move between neighbourhoods, the useful additions are often the ones that make ordinary journeys easier. Think about what you need to carry, where you leave the scooter during the day and whether your route takes you beyond slower urban streets. Riding with a passenger also changes which details are worth considering.

What riders usually fit to the Piaggio MP3 Yourban 125

A day that involves several stops calls for a different set-up from a commute with a stretch of faster road. The accessories available for this scooter address both patterns of use without turning a short city trip into a packing exercise.

• Security locks: if you park outside the office, stop at shops and leave the scooter on the street between errands, a lock that is straightforward to use can become part of your everyday routine. That matters when parking is something you do several times rather than just once at the end of a ride.
• Luggage: extra carrying space keeps a change of clothes, waterproofs or a small shop off your back. On the MP3 Yourban 125, it is particularly useful when your commute includes other stops and you would rather not plan each trip around what fits in a bag.
• Screens: a screen can take some of the wind off your upper body when the route opens up beyond town-centre streets. It makes more sense for riders who regularly use faster roads than for those whose journeys stay entirely within the city.
• Passenger accessories: riding two-up makes the experience of the person behind you part of the journey. These additions are worth considering if you often share local trips, rather than using the scooter solely for a solo commute.

For frequent short stops, carrying space and security are natural priorities. If your daily ride includes open roads or a regular passenger, wind protection and their comfort deserve more attention.
