Accessories for the Piaggio Skipper 150 LTX

The Piaggio Skipper 150 LTX is a scooter suited to everyday journeys around town. For that kind of riding, accessories are most useful when they address what happens on a typical trip: finding your way through unfamiliar streets, dealing with repeated parking and setting off on a longer stretch of road. Protection and phone mounting make sense in stop-start urban use, while a screen becomes more relevant when you spend time riding into the wind. It is worth thinking about where you ride the scooter rather than fitting accessories for journeys you rarely make.

What riders usually fit to the Piaggio Skipper 150 LTX

The accessories available for this model cover several distinct needs. Each has a different place in the way a Skipper is used, whether your route stays in town or takes you beyond it.

• Protectors: frequent stops, parking and manoeuvring are part of life on a town scooter. Protectors help look after the areas they are designed for when everyday use brings them into contact with minor scrapes and knocks. They are a practical choice if the Skipper is part of your regular routine.
• Phone mounts: useful for following directions when a ride involves several addresses or an unfamiliar destination. With a mount, you can keep route guidance in view from the riding position, rather than stopping repeatedly to check where to turn next on an urban journey.
• Screens: a screen can deflect some of the airflow reaching you when your route takes in longer roads as well as city streets. On the Skipper, it is most relevant if you regularly ride beyond short local trips and want a little more shelter from the wind.

Think of these as answers to different parts of the same journey: protection for regular town use, directions for changing routes and wind shelter for more open roads. Puig is among the accessory brands listed for this model.
