Accessories for the Piaggio TPH 50 Typhoon

The Piaggio TPH 50 Typhoon is a scooter suited to getting around town and making everyday journeys. In that setting, the ride is only part of the picture: parking, changing weather and finding your way through unfamiliar streets can all influence which accessories are worth fitting. The most useful additions are the ones that address how you actually use your Typhoon, rather than simply adding something for its own sake.

What riders usually fit to the Piaggio TPH 50 Typhoon

• Screens: a screen can help take some of the wind off the rider on more open urban roads. That can be welcome on a regular commute, particularly when the air is cold or the weather changes while you are out.
• Protectors: tight parking spaces and slow manoeuvres are part of daily scooter use. Protectors help look after the areas they are made for, which makes them relevant if your Typhoon is parked in different places throughout the week.
• Phone mounts: when you need directions across town, a mount keeps your phone in view without having to take it out at every stop. Set your route before riding so you can keep your attention on the road.
• Security locks: a lock is particularly relevant if your scooter spends time parked on the street. It is worth considering for a day made up of several short trips, when the Typhoon may be left out of sight between journeys.

Think about where your regular rides take you and what happens when you stop. That will help you decide whether shelter from the wind, protection while parking or help with directions matters most for your Piaggio TPH 50 Typhoon.
